Deadline for applications: 23:59 17 October 2026

Kabel is a reimagined telling of the tale of Cain and Abel, a sibling rivalry that has rippled across time. Through a potent mix of movement and text, Kabel delves deep into the primal emotions of jealousy, rage, and redemption. Bodies become the battlefield for a shattered bond by envy, with every action and reaction echoing the ancient conflict.
Kabel returns to London at Sadler’s Wells East next spring, after having its US premiere in New York.
The audition is open to male-presenting dancers, playing age 18-35, with a strong movement background in contemporary and/or hip-hop, and experience or interest in acting/speaking with text. We are looking for expressive performers who are confident improvisers, generous collaborators and excited by the relationship between movement, character and language.
All those auditioning must have the right to work in the UK and be available from mid-March to early May 2027.
Auditions will take place in London, on Saturday, October 24th with callbacks the following day, Sunday, October 25th 2026.
How to apply: Register your interest via Google Form by end of day Saturday, October 17th, found online at https://www.matsenaproductions.com/audition-kabel
