Theater Bremen / Unusual Symptoms and choreographer Alessandro Schiattarella are seeking disabled performers for a new ensemble dance production.
Where: Theater Bremen, Bremen, Germany
When: 9th November 2026 to 21st February 2027 (and more)
Deadline for applications: 15th August 2026
For a new production created in collaboration between Theater Bremen / Unusual Symptoms and choreographer Alessandro Schiattarella, we are looking for performers who:
Identify as disabled and have a disability that is visible in performance.
Are based in the European Union.
Have strong movement experience.
Have a strong ability to memorize movement sequences.
Have strong stage awareness and performance experience.
Applicants must be available for the full creation period:
Rehearsals – Block 1 9 November to 20 December 2026
Rehearsals – Block 2 11 January to 18 February 2027 Premiere 19 February 2027
Second performance 21 February 2027
Applicants should also be generally available for repertory performances and touring during 2027 and 2028.
