A short focus on the visceral and acclaimed universe of KOMOCO in this exclusive 3-day intensive workshop in Paris. Spanning 15 hours of rigorous training (5 hours daily), this laboratory is dedicated to the repertoire of award-winning choreographer Sofia Nappi, whose work is celebrated internationally for its raw physicality, fluid emotional depth, and shifting textures. WORKSHOP LEADER The workshop is led by Arthur Bouilliol, a close collaborator and key dancer within the company. Under his expert guidance, participants will first immerse themselves in the specific KOMOCO movement language. Expect a focus on deep grounding, the release of joints, and the awakening of sensory awareness to cultivate a body that is responsive, soft, yet explosively powerful. ABOUT THE WORKSHOP Following physical preparation, the sessions will transition into the study of current repertoire. Dancers will explore the intricate musicality and specific "grotesque" yet deeply human qualities that define Nappi's signature style.
