Vasko Nasonov is a highly versatile and dynamic dancer, teacher, and performer whose artistic journey is rooted in street dance and has expanded significantly into contemporary forms. He began his career immersed in the cultures of hip hop and house dance, quickly establishing himself on the battle scene. His notable participation in prestigious competitions includes events like Juste Debout Italy, SDK, U-13, and RMT, where he honed his improvisational skills.


A pivotal moment in his artistic development came in 2016 when he joined FarFor Yo dance company for three years. This company is renowned for its innovative blend of hip hop techniques and contemporary dance, an experience that directly catalyzed Vasko’s deep interest and subsequent research into contemporary movement. This period of exploration was also complemented by rigorous training in physical disciplines such as capoeira, acrobatics, and yoga, practices that fundamentally influenced and enriched his unique physical language and technical mastery. His dedication to contemporary training intensified in 2017 when he joined Kseniya Shlezinger's educational laboratory, allowing him to profoundly immerse himself in various contemporary techniques and philosophies.


Vasko's talent and dedication were internationally recognized in 2019 when he won the esteemed "Impulstanz dance contest." His professional career is distinguished by collaborations with a diverse and internationally recognized roster of choreographers, including: Yoann Bourgeois, Mike Tyus, Ofir Yudilevich, Tomislav English, Niels Robitzky, Tori Wranes, Kseniya Shlezinger, Tatiana Chizhikova, Elena Fokina, Anna Abalihina, and Pavel Gluhov, among others.


He dances with Kseniya Shlezinger's ongoing dance project and has been sought after as a guest dancer for several world-class institutions and companies. His impressive list of performance credits includes appearances with Yoann Bourgeois dance company, The Moscow State Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre, and Fomenko workshop theater, as well as various other projects spanning the globe.


Vasko Nasonov is highly active in dance education, generously sharing his unique methodology and extensive experience. He conducts his comprehensive courses and programs across Europe, partnering with renowned institutions and festivals. These prestigious educational affiliations include: ArtEZ University in the Netherlands, the Maslool program in Israel, the Performact program in Portugal, ImpulsTanz in Austria, SEAD Academy, Batsheva Dance School, Inbal Dance Theater, and others.
