Paid open call for contemporary dance artists to collaborate on two technology-mediated solo commissions (XR and brain-driven interaction) premiering at UAL Nerve Lab on June 8th.

We are seeking contemporary dance artists for two commissioned solo pieces: an extended-reality (XR) dance work and a brain-driven interactive performance. Both premiere June 8th at the official launch of Nerve Lab at UAL Creative Computing Institute, during London Tech Week.
The works explore the dynamic negotiation between choreographic intention and real-time adaptive computational systems. Prior experience with interactive technology or biometric sensors is not required. We are strictly seeking artists with a rigorous foundation in choreography and improvisation.
Logistics & Terms:
Fee: £500 flat fee per dancer.
Commitment: 20 hours total (rehearsals and performance).
Rehearsals: Commencing early May. Highly flexible; one 2-3 hour session per week, scheduled collaboratively around your existing availability.

Performance: June 8, 2026.
