SHARE THE DANCE INTENSIVE

Helena was born in Barcelona, Spain. She initiated dance with Spanish dance, traditional dances and ballet. After graduating from Conservatoire Institut del Teatre in Barcelona, she furthered her studies at Codarts University of the Arts in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. After joining Vertigo Dance Company, Helena starts freelancing back in Europe and works mainly with Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui - Eastman Dance Company on Nomad tour, being part of the creations of Vlaemsch - chez moi, Hanjo and Idomeneo with Grand Théâtre de Genève (with a revival at the Dutch National Opera and Grand Théâtre de Luxembourg) as well as Kor'sia with the creations and touring of Igra, Mont Ventoux and Simulacro and recently joined the work of Benjamin Millepied “Grace”.

She has been given the opportunity to present her solo works at Deltebre Festival, Turkey’s Solo CerModern Festival, Les Nuits de la Dansa by Aurélie Dupont among others. Alongside creation, performing and touring Helena develops audiovisual projects both in front and behind the camera (such as short movies, music videos and fashion projects).
