SHARE THE DANCE INTENSIVE

Sotiria Koutsopetrou was born in Heraklion Crete, Greece in 1997. She graduated from the State School of Dance in Athens in 2018 and she is currently studying Theory and History of Art at the Athens School of Fine Arts. As a performer, she has collaborated, among others, with Anna Konjetzky, Christos Papadopoulos, Tzeni Argyriou, Moriah Evans, Iris Karayan, Dimitris Papaioannou, Anastasia Valsamaki, Andonis Foniadakis, Anton Lachky and Thanos Papakonstantinou, in productions presented both in Greece and abroad. In 2019 she joined the MiR Dance Company in Germany, where she worked with choreographers such as Ivgi & Greben, Mauro Bigonzetti, Giuseppe Spota and Antonin Comestaz. In 2022 she choreographed her first solo work titled ‘so it goes*’, which was presented in Kalamata Dance Festival. Additionally, she has been teaching contemporary dance in various dance studios, schools, and as a guest teacher at the Opéra National de Lyon.
