Toby William Mallitt

Johan Inger

Born in the United Kingdom, Toby Mallitt began ballet training with the English National Ballet School before completing his studies at the Royal Ballet School. He began working professionally with Corella Ballet under the Artistic Direction of Angel Corella, before moving to Compañia Nacional de Danza under the Artistic Direction of Jose Martinez. Mallitt was promoted to the rank of soloist in 2014 where he had the opportunity in to perform leading roles across the repertoire, including William Forsythe’s In The Middle Somewhat Elevated, Christopher Wheeldon’s Polyphonia/DGV, Ohad Naharin’s Minus 16, Jiří Kylián’s Petite Mort/ Gods and Dogs, José Martinez’s Don Quixote, George Balanchine’s’ Allegro Brillante, Alexei Ratmansky's Concerto DSCH, Jerome Robbins’ In The Night and Johan Inger’s Carmen among others. Mallitt retired from dancing in 2022, taking on the role of Assistant Choreographer to Johan Inger and is currently setting the production of Carmen for companies worldwide.
