SHARE Intensive is a unique program in Europe where the great opportunity to work each day on the methods and repertoires of the greatest choreographers of our time, amongst a selected group of dancers takes place. Our winter edition of SHARE Intensive will be held in our home based, EDEN***** Studios Berlin, with an incredible lineup of choreographic workshops led by some of the most demanded workshop leaders, dancers, and stagers. Applications are open to professional and pre-professional dancers only. Applicants must be a minimum age of 16 years old.

Elena Valls
LA HORDE / Ballet National de Marseille
Elena Valls García was born in Madrid, Spain. She moved to New York to receive her BFA at The Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase, under the mentorship of Kazuko Hirabayashi. She studied dance and martial arts in Taipei National University of the Arts in Taipei, Taiwan. She performed professionally with companies in New York City, Europe, and Turkey. She has performed in Punch Drunk’s “Sleep No More” in NYC and Worked with Etienne Bechard (Brussels) Maura Morales (Düsseldorf), Kyle Abraham (NYC), Gregory Dolbashian (NYC), Shen Wei (NYC), Manuel Vignoulle (NYC), Korhan Basaran (Istanbul),and Samuel Pott (NYC).

Anne Jung
Marco Goecke
Originally from Groß-Umstadt, Germany, Anne Jung first trained as a rhythmic gymnast, competing with the German national team in the European Championship, World Championship, and the Olympics. Transitioning to dance, she trained at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne. In 2009, Anne received a scholarship from Kunststiftung NRW and joined Ballettmainz under Pascal Touzeau's artistic direction. There, she performed works by Pascal Touzeau, Jacopo Godani, Georg Reischl, and Didy Veldman. In 2014, she joined Nederlands Dans Theater I, dancing pieces by Marco Goecke, Paul Lightfoot, Sol León, Jiří Kylián, Medhi Walerski, Crystal
Pite, Mats Ek, and Franck Chartier.

Sotiria Koutsopetrou
Christos Papadopoulos
Sotiria Koutsopetrou was born in Heraklion Crete, Greece in 1997. She graduated from the State School of Dance in Athens in 2018 and she is currently studying Theory and History of Art at the Athens School of Fine Arts. As a performer, she has collaborated, among others, with Anna Konjetzky, Christos Papadopoulos, Tzeni Argyriou, Moriah Evans, Iris Karayan, Dimitris Papaioannou, Anastasia Valsamaki, Andonis Foniadakis, Anton Lachky and Thanos Papakonstantinou, in productions presented both in Greece and abroad. In 2019 she joined the MiR Dance Company in Germany, where she worked with choreographers such as Ivgi & Greben, Mauro Bigonzetti, Giuseppe Spota and Antonin Comestaz.

Scott Jennings
Pina Bausch
Born in England in 1988, Scott found a love for the arts at a young age. He began his training in dance and theatre at The BRIT School and then went onto study at London Contemporary Dance School, graduating in 2009. Scott has worked extensively as a performer with some of the world’s leading dance and theatre makers including Lloyd Newson, Dimitris Papaioannou, Robert Wilson and Maxine Doyle, to name a few. He spent six years as a member of Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch, performing Bausch’s eclectic repertoire worldwide. Alongside performing, Scott has also worked as a rehearsal director and stager for the Pina Bausch Foundation and is a regular teacher at schools, institutions and festivals throughout Europe.

Jiří Pokorný
Crystal Pite
Jiri Pokorny is a Czech choreographer based in The Hague, Netherlands. He graduated from the Prague National Dance Conservatory in 2000 and went on dancing with Laterna Magika in Prague. Three years later he joined Nederlands Dans Theater 2 in The Hague and continued his carrier with NDT1. After seven years in NDT, Jiri joined Vancouver-based company KiddPivot under the leadership of Canadian choreographer Crystal Pite. Jiri has worked with many renowned choreographers such as Jiri Kylian, Mats Ek, Ohad Naharin, Paul Lightfoot, Sol Leon and Crystal Pite among others. Jiri has performed in prestigious theatres worldwide, including Paris Opera, Sadler’s Wells London, Teatro Real Madrid, Teatro Liceu Barcelona, Joyce Theatre New York, and many more.

Boston Gallacher
Imre & Marne Van Opstal
Boston Gallacher (they/them, born 1996 in Glasgow) studied at the Dance School of Scotland and Rambert School in London. After graduating they joined Nederlands Dans Theater 2 where they danced for three years before moving to NDT1 for another four. In this time they were a part of 20 world premieres and toured the work of world-renowned choreographers internationally. In 2020 they were awarded the Piket Art Prize for dance. Boston has been working as a freelance dance artist since July 2023, continuing to dance for large-scale productions such as: Imre and Marne van Opstal in Schauspielhaus Bochum and Peeping Tom, as well as creating their own work for House Concerts in South Korea, site-specific work for techno party HEADBUTT in Paris and leading workshops in improvisation worldwide.

Joy Alpuerto Ritter
Akram Khan Company
Joy Alpuerto Ritter was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany. In her youth she was trained at the Ballettschule Armin Krain and learned Philippine Folk Dance in the cultural dance group led by her mother. In 2004 Joy graduated at the Palucca School (Dresden, Germany) with a dance diploma. She started working as a freelance dancer with choreographers like Christoph Winkler, Heike Hennig Wangramirez, Constanza Macras and Yui Kawaguchi. After expanding her repertory in urban dance styles, she became part of the Hip Hop and Voguing Ballroom culture scene in Berlin and has won prizes in several Dance Battles like Voguing out Berlin, Defipayette, Oval Battle and Funkin stylz. In 2011 she joined Cirque du Soleil as a dancer and aerial artist for the Michael Jackson Immortal World Tour. Since 2013 she has been a dancer and rehearsal director of the Akram Khan Company where she continues her touring life all around the world.

Application Requirements
All applicants must be professional or pre-professional dancers, movers, or performers, with a minimum age of 16 years old. No amateurs will be accepted!
We need a recent and clear video link of your dancing (Vimeo or YouTube). We need to see your dancing, physicality, and artistic potential. We highly recommend a simple in-studio improvisation.

A full detailed resume or CV is to be uploaded (max 15Mb) or attached as a weblink (Google Drive, website, wetransfer). Any application not fully completed will be automatically canceled.

Acceptance / Group Assignment
Accepted and non-accepted dancers will be notified by email within 2 working days of receiving your application. Three weeks to one month and a half before the intensive, you will be notified of your group assignment A or B alternating schedule from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. SHARE will assign you to the group, it is not possible to choose your group. We recommend keeping your schedule free in order to be available for your group's daily time slot.
Payment
An invoice is automatically sent in a separate email (check your spam folder) and attached to your acceptance email via invoice link. This one is valid for 72h.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum age required?
We accept young dancers in their final years of dance study from 16 years old with parental consent.
Is travel, food and accommodation provided?
We can assist in providing accommodation in Berlin. Otherwise travel and food is not provided.
Do I have to participate in the entire week?
No, you can chose the SHARE A la carte pass and create your own program.
When will I know to I accepted?
It takes us up to three days to review your application. Once accepted you will be notified by email.
When will I know in which group I'm?
We inform each dancers about their group from 3 weeks to a month and a half before the intensive.
May I request a certificate of participation?
