During three days, you will have the great opportunity to work on KOR'SIA's collective creative process and repertoire with former dancer and assistant Helena Olmedo Duynslaeger.
About KOR'SIA
For the Kor'sia collective, the arts and specifically the arts of movement, as their competence, are the only representations that manage to transmit the human world, everything created by our societies: tradition, society, culture ..., in a way that no other cognitive skill achieves. Surviving in time beyond the societies that produced them and managing to transcend what we call ideas, providing individuals with access to their most intimate and spiritual ways. Therefore, the objective of this collective is based on the creation of artistic devices whose epicenter is located in the body and that proposes a reflection on the possible gestation of individual and collective spaces, which can provide new access to ways of being and being. in the world through the living arts. www.kor-sia.com
About Helena Olmedo Duynslaeger
Helena was born in Barcelona, Spain. She graduated from the Conservatoire of Institut del Teatre in Barcelona and then deepened her studies at Codarts University of the Arts in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. After discovering the Israeli dance scene and joining Vertigo Dance Company performing One One & one, Leela, and White Noise, Helena started freelancing and works mainly with Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui with Eastman Dance Company in Nomad, Vlaemsch, Hanjo, and Idomeneo with Grand Théâtre de Genève and Kor'sia in Igra and Mont Ventoux. Alongside performing, Helena develops a modeling career and nourishes personal projects.
About this Course
This workshop is exclusively for SHARE The Dance Intensive. Dancers submitting their application need to have a strong dance technique and physicality and/or any other background that supports their participation in this workshop.
Workshop Description
Each day will begin with a warm-up led by Helena Olmedo Duynslaeger on the creative process tools used at KOR'SIA to then continue with a repertoire workshop on the work of the collective.

Application Requirements

All Applicants must be professional or pre-professional dancers, movers, or performers, with a minimum age of 16 years old.

You must provide a maximum of 1-minute video link (Vimeo or Youtube) of your dancing either improvising or choreographed solo. No group piece. No Instagram or Facebook link.

A full detailed resume is to be uploaded (max 15Mb) or via a weblink (google drive, website, etc...)
Acceptance
Within 3 days after receiving your application form, we will send our response via email. 7 days to pay your tuition is required once our email is sent. Every un-paid application is canceled on the 8th day at 9 am.
